Trip to Manali Spiti Valley Itinerary

Day 1Manali-Jibhi

  • Manali-Jibhi (104 km).
  • Report at the base- Haripur, Manali at 10 am.
  • Our team will be there for a briefing and orientation.
  • Cover Kullu valley riding along the banks of River Beas, before turning to Aut to follow the River Tirthan all the way to Jibhi.
  • Check in at homestay/camp to spend the night at Jibhi.
  • Local attractions: white water rafting, Cheeni Kothi, Shringa Rishi Temple among others.

Day 2Jibhi-Sarahan

  • Jibhi-Sarahan (123km).
  • Early breakfast.
  • Sarahan is a beautiful village consisting of many apple orchards and we can also see the Shrikhand Mahadev Peak from here.
  • Night stay at a guesthouse in Sarahan.
  • Local attractions: Bhimakali Temple, Daranghati Wildlife and Sarahan pheasantry.


  • Sarahan-Chitkul (112 km).
  • Head to Sangla Valley in the morning.
  • Arrive at Chitkul- the last inhabited village of India.
  • Night stay at Chitkul.
  • Local attractions: Village temples and Gompas.

Day 4Chitkul-Reckong Peo-Kalpa

  • Chitkul-Reckong Peo-Kalpa (77km).
  • Back to Sangla Valley. At Sangla Valley we pay a visit to The Bering Nag Temple and a Buddhist Monastery.
  • Move to Kalpa and then to Reckong Peo. Reckong Peo is the capital district of Kinnaur.
  • Spend the night in Reckong Peo.

Day 5Kalpa-Nako

  • Kalpa-Nako (123 km).
  • Early breakfast.
  • Arrive at Nako- the largest and the most famous villages in Hingrang Valley. 
  • This village also supports the view of the Leo Pargil Peak- highest in the state.
  • Spend the night at Nako.
  • Local attractions: Nako Lake, local delicacies.

Day 6Nako-Tabo

  • Nako-Tabo (68 km).
  • Arrive at Tabo post breakfast.
  • Night stay at Tabo.
  • Local attractions: Old Monastery

Day 7Tabo-Kaza via Dhankar

  • Tabo-Kaza via Dhankar (97 km).
  • Early breakfast.
  • Pass through Dhankar village- the former capital and throne of the King of Spiti. 
  • Also visit Kungri Gompa.
  • Spend the night here.

Day 8Kaza-Kibber/Ki-Back to Kaza

  • Kaza-Kibber/Ki-Back to Kaza (99 km).
  • Exploring Kaza on day 8.
  • Visit Ki Monastery and Kibber- one of the highest and constantly inhabited villages in Asia.
  • Stay for the night.

Day 9Kaza-Chandratal

  • Kaza-Chandratal (116 km).
  • Reach Chandratal through Kunzum Pass.
  • Set up a camp here by the lake for the night.
  • Bonfire night.

Day 10Chandratal-Manali

  • Chandratal-Manali (110 km).
  • Back to where we started from via Rohtang Valley.
  • Arrive at base camp in Haripur to freshen up before catching your evening bus to Delhi/Chandigarh.
  • Pickup and drop from Patlikuhal bus stop.
  • End of the trip.

  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, we will call you for alternate tours or refund you the money in your bank account (if you don’t want to book with us, that’s fine – heartbreaks are difficult but life is not fair 🙁 )

Trip to Manali Spiti Valley: Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website and we are sad to let you go and only wish you will come back to have a great journey with us.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, we will refund you the money to 90%. We can also arrange for alternate arrangements for you, if you still love us, of course.

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 3 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveller’s account by original payment mode i.e in your bank account. We don’t believe in refunding your amount and calling it “xyz cash”, we refund you in your bank account using your money wisely!
