Hanuman Tibba, a spiritual place surrounded by snow, is a wonder of nature kissing the epidermis and a gust of wind greeting the soul. Trek to Hanuman Tibba will fill you up with happiness and excitement giving you a blissful escape from your mundane life. This place is a picture of a neverland with a panoramic vista. This colossal nature’s artistry is standing in the western Himalayas, near Manali.
Despite losing the title of the highest mountain, this eminence of height 5982 meters holds the exquisite feature of being a pyramid structure with each facet delivering an outstanding beauty. The trail to this lofty mountain is popular because of many factors, and most of these factors concern the splendid beauty this trek furnishes. Also known as Solang Weisshorn, Mt Hanuman Tibba has a history of expeditions dating back to 1966 by a Joint Indo -British expedition under R.G Pettigrew.
Every stage of the trek is filled with affable sights starting with the base camp at Lake Beas Kund (or the literal name “The Moon Lake”) standing at the height of 4000 feet.
After settling with the thought of excursion to the fairyland in the base camp, the next campsite is located in Tentu Pass, which is a rather challenging route because of the amalgamation of ice, snow and rock gradient up to 75° to 80° at a whopping height of 4996 m.
After celebrating the beauty of rugged mountains in the Camp of Tentu Pass, the touring party then accedes to the next trek from the North-West ridge to South-East ridge. Before reaching the South -East Ridge, a summit camp is arranged to give relaxation time to the trekkers. The last stage of the trek is commenced from Summit Camp to summit, which includes the climb of South-West face, later meeting the South-West ridge and finally summit.
Note: If the weather betrays, then it may cost an additional day for reaching the peak.
Pick up and drop from Patlikuhl bus stand, Manali.
Freshly prepared vegetarian meals served during the trek.
