Day 1Arrive in Shimla

  • Leave from Delhi and arrive in Shimla.

  • Post breakfast, make the most of your lackadaisical time before you start your adventure through Kinnaur, Spiti Valley. Start the voyage and relish the excellence of Kufri, go across the streets and move towards Thanedar. You will reach Thanedar and check in at the visitor’s house. 

  • Thanedar is the ideal place where one can shop for fruit( apples, apricots, etc). A lot of local businesses specializing in jamps, pickles and wines operate here.

  • Participate in some climbs and short treks here.

  • There is a bonfire at night.

Day 2Sightseeing from Shimla

  • Post breakfast, stop by the Sutlej river and click some photographs.

  • Reach Sangla to check in to the visitor’s lodge.

  • This is followed by a visit to the striking Kinnauri-style sanctuaries or the vivid Samdrup Choeling Gompa. 

  • Supper features the local cuisine, which is both nutritious and delicious.

Day 3Shimla to Kalpa

  • After Breakfast , head to Chitkul – drive up the valley to the town of Chitkul at a height of 3460m. Chitkul is the last occupied town before the Tibet fringe.

  • Explore the Kamru Fort.

  • Visit the Beri Nag snake sanctuary and take in the dazzling Himalayas. There is additionally, an old Kagyupa religious community which houses an exceptionally esteemed picture of Shakyamuni Buddha.

  • Take a trek from Chitkul to Nagasthi. From Chitkul, take a stroll to Nagasthi which has a checkpost of the Indo Tibtetan Border.

  • The trek is green now and again and is rough at others. 

  • Reach Kalpa and check in to the visitor’s lodge.

Day 4Kalpa to Nako Village

  • After discovering Tabo, you will then go on towards Kaza – the district capital of Spiti Valley and check into a relaxing spacious hotel.

  • After arriving at Kaza, you can take a walk around the delightful market of Kaza, dominated by Buddhist culture.


Day 6Sightseeing from Kaza

  • After your first meal of the day, you will drive up to the world-famous Ki Monastery – an eminent element on most Spiti postcards.

  • Later on you will be spending a  few hours at the monastery and you will drive to the adjacent village of Kibber.

  • Following that, drive back to your hotel in Kaza.

Day 7Kaza to Chandratal Lake

  • Drive from Kaza to ChandraTal over the famous Kunzum La.

  • After that You will reach the Kunzum Pass by car and begin the trek to Chandratal Lake from there.

  • The evening is topped off by a night of camping at the lakeside.

Day 8Reach Manali and Depart for New Delhi

  • Leave Spiti by crossing the Spiti Valley.
  • Arrive in Manali to relax for a while before heading towards Delhi.
