Spiti, aptly known as “Little Tibet” is popular for its mighty snow peaks and picturesque surroundings. Spiti Valley  bike trip will fill you up with happiness and excitement giving you a blissful escape from your mundane life.

This 12 day long trip offers a promising experience with journeys from Delhi via Chandratal, Losar and Kalpato, beautiful Sangla valley, Manali and many more.

This trip is every adrenaline junkies’ dream with an opportunity to ride on the most dangerous road which is 137 km long from Kaza to Gramphoo through tough terrains.

It does not end here – Ride through the Chandra River, the most beautiful sight of SamudraTapu glacier, North Dakka glacier, South Dakka glacier and Silver glacier.

Spiti Valley Bike Trip Itinerary

Day 1Delhi to Manali

  • Assemble at Delhi Volvo station by 4 pm and board a bus for Manali.
  • Overnight drive to Manali in a Volvo Bus.

Day 2Arrive Manali and a short ride

  • On arrival, meet the tour representative and check into the hotel by 12 noon.
  • Allotment of motorcycles post lunch.
  • Short tour of Manali with guides to get familiar with your motorcycles.
  • Dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Day 3Manali to Jibhi or Shoja

  • Depart from Manali after breakfast.
  • Enjoy a beautiful journey alongside Banjar valley.
  • This road less travelled by tourists offers such magical views that there will never be a dull moment for the photographer in you.
  • Arrive at the Guest house and overnight stay. 

Day 4Shoja to Rampur

  • Leave for Rampur post breakfast.
  • The journey from Shoja to Rampur is around 100 kms (about 6 hrs.) via Jalori pass (3223 metres), located on a ridge across the Rampur Valley.
  • Check in and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5Rampur to Kalpa

  • Leave for Kalka post breakfast About 130 kms from Rampur
  • The entire journey is along the banks of Sutlej River.
  • Kalpa village has amazing views of the majestic Kinner Kailash Mountain range.
  • Check into hotel on arrival
  • Leisurely evening to explore the Kalpa Village.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6Kalpa to Nako

  • Nako, a small village in Kinnaur is located on the Indo-China border.
  • On arrival at Nako, check into Hotel
  • Evening sightseeing -Soak in the beauty of Nako Lake and a visit to Nako Village
  • Spend night at the hotel.

Day 7Nako/Tabo/Dhankar/Kaza

  • This journey is about 120 kms (6 hrs.)
  • Morning trip to Nako Monastery – Founded by Ringchen Zangpo After which we begin our journey to Kaza.
  • Visit Dhankar Gompa on the way.
  • Arrive at Kaza. 
  • Check into the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 8Explore Kaza

  • Morning ride to Key Monastery (12 kms from Kaza) – Biggest centre of Buddhist learning, about 1000 years old.
  • Followed by a visit to Komic and Hikkim villages.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9Kaza to Chandra tall (100 kms)

  • Begin the scenic Kaza- Chandratal journey over the Kunzum pass, the highest motorable pass in India.
  • Arrive Chandratal and check into Camp.
  • Evening outing to lake and explore Chandratal – A campers paradise.
  • Spend the night in the company of countless stars and in the raw nature.

Day 10Chandra tall to Manali

  • Enroute Manali via Rohtang Pass(3980 m) with unbeatable views of glaciers and pristine snow-capped mountain peaks.
  • Though the journey is 120km it takes 7 hrs. due to the challenging narrow roads of Rohtang Pass.
  • Check in the hotel after arriving and stay for the night.

Day 11Depart from Manali

  • Look around in Manali on your own
  • Bid adieu to Manali in the evening.
  • Overnight ride in Volvo bus.
  • Gathering at Manali Volvo stand to board a Volvo bus for Delhi.
  • Overnight journey.

Day 12Arrival in Delhi

  • Reach Delhi in the morning.
  • We will end our services here.
  • You can go back home with sweet memories of this trip of a lifetime.

  • Taxes as applicable.

Exclusions

  • Cost of insurance (Personal/Baggage/Medical) 
  • Cost of rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc. 
  • Any personal expenses like laundry, phone/fax calls, tips to drivers, guides, and beverages. 
  • Any extra fees appear due to a change in itinerary because of natural forces like landslides, unfavourable weather, roadblocks, flight cancellations, sickness etc. 
  • Nominal cost for a bonfire, barbeque and all meals at the base in Haripur (choice of veg/ non-veg). 
  • Cost of any optional activity like paragliding, rafting, angling, etc.

 

Spiti Valley Bike Trip: Booking Confirmation Policy

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 6 hours of successful booking. Yes, we are fast and we like it that way.
  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, we will call you for alternate tours or refund you the money in your bank account (if you don’t want to book with us, that’s fine – heartbreaks are difficult but life is not fair 🙁 )

Spiti Valley Bike Trip: Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website and we are sad to let you go and only wish you will come back to have a great journey with us.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, we will refund you the money to 90%. We can also arrange for alternate arrangements for you, if you still love us, of course.

Spiti Valley Bike Trip: Refund Policy

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 3 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveller’s account by original payment mode i.e in your bank account. We don’t believe in refunding your amount and calling it “xyz cash”, we refund you in your bank account using your money wisely!
