Spiti Sightseeing Tour from Chandigarh Itinerary

Day 1Chandigarh-Shimla-Kufri-Narkanda

  • Start around noon from Chandigarh to Narkanda via Shimla and Kufri.

  • Escape the traffic of Shimla city and head towards Chail and Kufri.

  • Stop at Chail for some refreshment. Reach Narkanda by evening.

  • Overnight stay at Narkanda.

Day 2Narkanda-Rampur-Wangtoo-Sangla

  • After breakfast, visit the Hatu Temple and hit the road towards Sangla.
  • Witness a stunningvalley on your way to Rampur and marvel at the huge construction sites of Wantoo Karcham Dam.
  • Overnight stay at Sangla.

Day 3Sangla-Chitkul-Kalpa

  • Wake up early in the morning and enjoy the mesmerizing view of Sangla valley. One can also see the back side of Kinner Kailash peaks from Sangla.

  • Head for a walk to Basteri village and pay a visit to the Badri Narayan temple.

  • Have a delicious breakfast and leave for Chitkul, the last village on the Indo-Tibet border.

  • Head to Kalpa from Chitkul and if time permits visit the Old Shiva Temple and Buddhist Monastery in Kalpa.

  • Overnight stay at Kalpa.

Day 4Kalpa-Pooh-Khab-Nako-Sumdo-Tabo

  • As you leave Kalpa, you will notice the change in terrain as the greenery decreases and rockier mountains seem to appear.

  • Stop at Nako for Lunch and take a walk through the village.

  • Next head towards Sumdo and then towards Gue where you will find preserved remains of a monk. You can spend some time there and then head towards your final destination, Tabo.

  • Overnight stay at Tabo.

Day 5Tabo-Dhankar-Pin Valley

  • Start your morning with a refreshing breakfast and visit the Tabo Monastery.

  • Your next stop will be Dhankar Monastery – a 1000 years old monument which hangs on a cliff.

  • Take a 45 minutes hike to Dhankar lake for a delicious lunch.

  • Post lunch, head to Pin valley and visit Khungri Monastery on your way.

  • Finish your journey for the day at Mudh village.

Day 6Pin Valley-Kaza-Kye-Khibber-Kaza

  • Take an early morning walk inside the Pin Parvati National Park and head to Kye and Khibber post breakfast.

  • Visit the Kye Monastery and have some refreshment there.

  • After that head to Khibber village which used to be the highest village in the world before Komic took that position.

  • Then head back to Kaza for an overnight stay.

Day 7Kaza-Hikkim-Komic-Langza

  • Post breakfast, head to Langza which is the 2nd highest motorable road in the world after Komic. It is also the home of fossil search in our country.

  • To make it more adventurous, the interested ones can hike from Langza to Komic with a small stop at Hikkim.

  • Visit the world’s highest post office in Hikkim and send a few postcards to family and friends.

  • Head back to Langza and have an overnight stay at a homestay.

Day 8Kaza-Lohsar-Kunzum Pass-Chander Tal Lake

  • After breakfast, you will head towards the photogenic Chander Tal Lake. This place is like heaven for a landscape photographer.

  • Overnight stay in dome shaped tents which will protect you from the chilling cold.

Day 9Chander Tal-Batal-Chatru-Gramphoo-Rohtang Pass-Manali

  • Have breakfast in early morning and leave for Manali via Rohtang Pass which you will try to reach by early afternoon.

  • Have a small get together over dinner at Manali.

  • Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 10 Manali-Kullu-Mandi-Chandigarh

  • Drive back to Chandigarh as you near the end of a memorable trip.

  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, we will call you for alternate tours or refund you the money in your bank account (if you don’t want to book with us, that’s fine – heartbreaks are difficult but life is not fair 🙁 )

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website and we are sad to let you go and only wish you will come back to have a great journey with us.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, we will refund you the money to 90%. We can also arrange for alternate arrangements for you, if you still love us, of course.
