From the pass, witness the panoramic views of the Indus Valley Civilisation in the south to Zanskar Valley in the north right up the big slopes of Saser Massif.

As you start with the first leg of this cycling journey today, warm up by pedaling out of Manali through its meadows towards the gushing waterfalls of the valley.
Fill your gaze with the amazing apple orchards and quaint and delightful hamlets on the way.
After that, you will explore many hairpin curves and switchbacks of undulating roads towards the Rohtang Pass; also called the pass of soul, for an overnight stay.

Keep going over the Rohtang Pass for 12km at 3,900m you can see a delightful scene of snowy peaks. Thereafter, you will be going towards Gramphu to meet the roaring currents of the Chandra River at Khoksar.
Cycling for the day ends at the Sissu campsite.
After some rejuvenating cups of chai and hot pakoras in the evening, you can take a comfortable walk towards the picturesque Sissu Falls followed by an overnight stay.

Today, you will be going on a short ride to Gondla.
Passing through the beautiful mountain streams that flow through the area, you will reach the rough terrains of Keylong Pass.
You will slowly begin seeing that as you go along, the terrains start becoming rougher; the trail for the day ends in Jispa with an overnight stay.
Total distance covered is 53 Kms.
After leaving Jispa through a gorge, ride downhill to the Darcha settlement, which is a showy hamlet nestled in the confluence point of Barai Nulla and Bhaga rivers.
Hereafter, ascend towards Patseo, where you begin getting a sense of the remoteness of the region with just few settlements dotting the landscapes.
Finally, you will enter the ‘Land of the Lamas’ and experience the dry and windswept climate of the area.
Then park your bikes and relax at the Zing Zing Bar which is the base of Baralacha La Pass followed by an overnight stay.

A dynamic day of riding awaits you as you begin the Baralacha La Pass standing at an astonishing 4,810m.
Then, your efforts are rewarded in full and some more with the view of the natural raw wilderness of the barren Trans of Himalayan region. After a small stop for tea at Bharatpur, you will cross the mountains to arrive at Sarchu, the place for the day.
Explore the big vista of the sunset from the campsite, where you will be staying for the night.

Starting the day with some fun cycling, you will soon arrive at the dynamic terrains of the 21 loops of Gata. Hot chai and pakoras await as you finish the easy downhill descent towards Whiskey Nullah.
On the way, you may explore the rare blue sheep of the region grazing at Nakeela Pass; overnight stay in tents at Whiskey Nullah.

Today you can enjoy yourselves as you win over the highest motorable pass on the Manali-Leh Highway known as the Lachalang La at 5,050m. The raw roads with gravel and lack of tarmac require the most difficult of manoeuvres to travel.
Hereafter, you will be descending towards Pang and then go on to 8km switchback climb to reach the flat Moray Plains.
The day ends at the shores of the Tso Kar salt lake with an overnight camping experience.

From highest to the second highest, you go through the challenges posed by the Tanglang La Pass (5,260m).
After a difficult day of cycling, you will feel a view of victory once you reach your place on the top.
Feel the wind in your hair as you start your descent of 1,200m to arrive at the village of Rumetse.
The air gets noticeably warmer as you arrive at the end of your trail for the day at Lato.

You will reach an almost sea change in the view while getting the old and fertile plains of the Indus Valley civilization.
Explore the grand Stupas and other marvels of this idyllic destination. The mountains surrounding you in this valley are lush and their palette is rich with multiple hues.
On the way, you will be passing the Shey Palace, from where the road improves to a great extent.
