Lahaul And Spiti Valley Camping Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Shimla

  • Take a beautiful drive from Shimla
  • Reach Sarahan to attain peace at the famous Bhimakali Temple.

Day 2Drive through Sangla, Baspa Valley and Chitkul

  • Drive through the picturesque path which will take about 5 hours to reach Sangla, a major town of the magnificent Baspa valley. 
  • Visit Chitkul, the last village at the Indo-Tibet border for a further walk to Batseri.
  • Get rejuvenated and enjoy the campsite.

Day 3Sangla to Nako

  • At the higher altitudes, soak yourself in the beautiful atmosphere of the Nako Lake post the Sangla visit. 
  • Relax in camp at night.

Day 4Nako to Kaza

  • Start the day with motivation to reach the beautiful Spiti Valley from Nako followed by the mummy monk on top of the hill, the Gue Village.
  • Enjoy the drive to Tabo, the Ajanta of the Himalayas.
  • Satiate your appetite to reach the headquarters of the Spiti Valley, Kaza.

Day 5Sightseeing from Kaza

  • Have a peaceful and enlightening visit to the various monasteries and a visual treat to the enchanting locations of the village. 
  • Visit Kee, Kibber, Langza and Komic and also stroll through the Kaza bazaar.

Day 6Kaza to Jispa via Kunzom Pass

  • Experience the link between the Spiti and Lahaul, the Kunzom pass.
  • Reach the village of Jispa or Gemur to relax at the campsite by evening.

Day 7Explore Jispa

  • Put on your hiking shoes after you arrive at the Kolong Village and feel like a local traveller walking around in their surroundings.
  • Calm and refresh your mind at the Khangsar Khar, the palace of the early rulers (Thakurs).
  • Visit the Gemur Monastery.
  • Return to the campsite.

Day 8Jispa to Manali

  • Begin your journey from Jispa to Manali (approx. 6 hours drive), passing through the Rohtang Pass and camping at Manali.

Day 9Sightseeing in Manali

  • Live the life of Manali.
  • Start by visiting the Mall road or Hadimba temple, to reach the Vashisht hot sulphur water for utmost relaxation.

Lahaul And Spiti Valley Camping: Booking Confirmation Policy

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 6 hours of successful booking. Yes, we are fast and we like it that way.
  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, we will call you for alternate tours or refund you the money in your bank account (if you don’t want to book with us, that’s fine – heartbreaks are difficult but life is not fair 🙁 )

Lahaul And Spiti Valley Camping: Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website and we are sad to let you go and only wish you will come back to have a great journey with us.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, we will refund you the money to 90%. We can also arrange for alternate arrangements for you, if you still love us, of course.

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 3 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveller’s account by original payment mode i.e in your bank account. We don’t believe in refunding your amount and calling it “xyz cash”, we refund you in your bank account using your money wisely!
