A tour package has been organized from Kasol to Manali. It is a duration of 6 days/5 nights tour which is recommended for beginners and moderate level trekkers. Age groups of 12 and above can participate in this adventurous trek. 

Kasol to Manali Trek will fill you up with happiness and excitement giving you a blissful escape from your mundane life. And the best season to visit this particular place is Sep-Nov. The trek covers a distance of 12,500 feet and it has got a great association with one’s mental stability.

It covers the routes through the meadows and forests with rocky terrain and snow covered mountains. The trekking begins from Kasol to Grahan to Mung Thach to Nagaru to Biskeri to Barshaini. The starting and ending point of this trek would be Kasol. 

Trekkers should carry their own comfortable warm clothes, trekking shoes, gloves, jacket, raincoat and sunscreen.

Kasol to Manali Trek Itinerary

Day 1Report at Kasol Camp

  • The first and foremost step is to check in at the Kasol stay. 
  • Refresh yourself and have some breakfast. 
  • Then finish your registration process. All the participants must complete their registration steps. 
  • After that move to Chalal village by having lunch and an orientation will be arranged in the evening.

Day 2Arrangements

  • We will arrange a jeep ride early in the morning from Kasol to Malana dam. 
  • Malana is a village area with its own cultural beauty. It has been associated with the oldest democracy and the people have a belief that they are the followers of Alexander. It consists of certain rules and customs of their own. We should not touch anything while passing through them as it’s against their rule. 
  • Then there is a normal descent along the way till Behali.
  • Stay in tents at Behali campsite during the night.

Day 3Trek from Behali- Negroni

  • We will start our trek early in the morning
  •  After a few steps upwards a flat beautiful land would appear. 
  • Lunch will be done with a group at a campsite. 
  • After 2-3 hrs. trek we will reach at Negroni. The beauty of this place is that it is covered with snow capped mountains on both sides.

Day 4Trek to Chandrakant pass and descend to Chaklani overnight at Chaklani

  • At 6. A.M, we will start our trekking. It takes around 4-5 hrs. to reach the top of Chandrakhani pass (3,660 meters) from Negroni campsite. 
  • As the sun appears strong to make the snow hard, it’s better to pass the route early. The whole place is connected with one of the seventh Saptrishi, Jamdagini Rishi. 
  • The route will descend when it reaches Chaklani camp site.
  •  Night stay will be at Chaklani camp site.

Day 5Descend to Rumsu village Departure

  • After breakfast, all the participants will start their journey to Rumsu camp. It takes around 4hrs.
  •  There will be a bonfire and night stay at Rumsu base camp.

Day 6Drive back to Manali

  •  Your journey ends after reaching Manali.

  • And the accommodation is at dome tent (shared by 3 to 4 persons)
  • Id proof and medical certificate should be submitted during registration time.

Kasol to Manali Trek: Booking Confirmation Policy

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 6 hours of successful booking. Yes, we are fast and we like it that way.
  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, we will call you for alternate tours or refund you the money in your bank account (if you don’t want to book with us, that’s fine – heartbreaks are difficult but life is not fair 🙁 )

Kasol to Manali Trek: Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website and we are sad to let you go and only wish you will come back to have a great journey with us.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, we will refund you the money to 90%. We can also arrange for alternate arrangements for you, if you still love us, of course.

Kasol to Manali Trek: Refund Policy

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 3 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveller’s account by original payment mode i.e in your bank account. We don’t believe in refunding your amount and calling it “xyz cash”, we refund you in your bank account using your money wisely!
