Kanamo Peak is identified as the white lady peak where the ‘ka’ word stands for ‘white’ and ‘namo’ stands for ‘lady’. It is one of the toughest treks in the Himalayan mountain range as the high altitude and cold weather may stop you from climbing the summit. If you’re physically fit and always up for exciting adventures then this trek is exactly for you. Kanamo Peak Trek will fill you up with happiness and excitement giving your adventure soul a blissful escape from your mundane life.

This is a 6000 m high non-technical mountain climb and there are many beautiful sights to watch throughout the route. From the mighty Himalayas to the rustic and age-old monasteries, to the moon-shaped Chandratal River, the beauty around it will engulf you. There will be an extra activity of river rafting in the Spiti River too.

From Manali to Batal, through Rohtang Pass and Lahaul Valley, you’ll be driven through. The first trek destination would be snow-covered (occasionally) Chandratal Lake, located at the height of 4,300m. It is named after its half-moon shaped structure and the mountains that surround it. As you will go ahead, places like Kullu, Kinnar and Ladakh will offer you amazing views.

Climbing the summit feels like you are on top of the world as you can have a 360-degree view of the entire region. All it takes is a bit of determination and strength to climb towards your goal.
