The snow lays down its white blanket over Manali during December and turns it into a winter wonderland, bound to blow your mind and leave you speechless.

As the green forests get dusted with snow, the trek starts getting magical and captivates you.

 

You can also try out winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow treks etc. This tour gives you an incomparable personal experience, uncovering the different layers of Manali slowly and carefully,  enriching you with its tranquillity and beauty.

Camping at Solang Itinerary

Day 1Golden Meadow Hike and camping at Koot

  • Golden Meadow Hike and camping at Koot.
  • All participants are requested to be present at Patlikuhal bus station, which is roughly 14 kms from Manali at 9 am, where our team will be waiting. 
  • You’ll be driven to the basecamp at Haripur and will be served a delicious breakfast.
  • You’ll be given some time to explore the area nearby. 
  • The trek through the snow over the Golden Meadow starts from there. 
  • It is breathtaking to see coniferous trees like the Oak and Deodar forests covered with a blanket of snow that transforms it into a white winter land.
  • Experience trout fishing in the Soyal Nala stream. 
  • Spend the day camping alongside Jungle Style BBQ and feel snug and warm sitting by a bonfire on a cold night. 
  • Have dinner.
  • You’ll be staying overnight in groups at Koot.

Day 2Explore Manali-Old Manali and drive to Solang Valley

  • Explore Manali-Old Manali and drive to Solang Valley.
  • Have an early breakfast and then go out to explore Manali by walking to the Hadimba Devi temple – an ancient cave temple with a carved wooden elevation. 
  • Visit the monastery in Manali.
  • Visit Manu Temple and take some time to seek the cafes and restaurants around the streets.
  • The trip ends here and you’ll be driven back to Delhi/Chandigarh by bus.

Camping at Solang: Booking Confirmation Policy

  • The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 6 hours of successful booking. Yes, we are fast and we like it that way.
  • In case the preferred slots are unavailable, we will call you for alternate tours or refund you the money in your bank account (if you don’t want to book with us, that’s fine – heartbreaks are difficult but life is not fair 🙁 )

Camping at Solang: Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website and we are sad to let you go and only wish you will come back to have a great journey with us.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, we will refund you the money to 90%. We can also arrange for alternate arrangements for you, if you still love us, of course.

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 3 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveller’s account by original payment mode i.e in your bank account. We don’t believe in refunding your amount and calling it “xyz cash”, we refund you in your bank account using your money wisely!

Is there any medical aid available during the journey?

Our guides are trained in basic first aid and medical practices.

Do you provide porter services?

We provide our clients with porters/ponies for his or her convenience on-demand at a nominal price (Rs.500 per day for the duration of the trek and a maximum of 10 kg per person).

Essential things to carry

  • Carry an original ID card and a photograph.
  • The water is fresh and clean. You should bring your reusable water bottle and filter during the trek.

Where from will the trip start?

The trip will start from Haripur, 14 km from Manali. You are requested to deboard at Patlikuhal bus stand if travelling by Volvo bus. Our team will be there to receive you and then drive you to the base camp.
