Trekking has become one of the most popular activities these days. Whereas, camping with bonfires and stars overhead, catches the interest of not only hikers but other people too.
Crossing difficult terrains and uneven paths can be difficult. But these obstacles can be dealt with when the reward is so fascinating.
One such reward is the beautiful Bhrigu Lake. Bhrigu Lake Trekking will offer you a blissful escape to nature’s lap from your mundane life giving relief to your adventure soul.
The lake Bhrigu derives its name from the legend called Bhrigu Maharishi, who meditated on the bank of this pristine lake, lying at 4160/13645 ft. above sea level.
The shallow water of the lake remains frozen for most of the year.
There is a neatly carved wooden temple, a hot spring surrounding the Jogini waterfalls, and village homestays which makes it a lovely trail.
The meadow changes its texture, shape and colour. It looks more beautiful when covered with snow.
The lake is about 6km from Gulaba village.
The path goes through lush green meadows, under the deep blue sky.
Bird’s eye view of the Suro Valleys like Upper Kullu, Solang and Rohtang is bliss.
Hanuman Tibba can also be seen during this trek.
One cannot even imagine that such beautiful meadows exist high above Manali.
This type of view and trek is a rare opportunity. One must add this trek to their bucket list.
Veg and Egg meals will be provided on the trek.
The best time to visit Bhrigu is from mid-May to October.
